Daystar Academy: Ready, Set, Hired!
July 8, 2026
This upcoming Daystar Academy event is focused on helping community members prepare to enter the workforce, change careers, or take the next step professionally. Attendees will have access to resources including mock interviews, interview attire, haircuts, career preparation support, and connections to employers who are actively hiring.
Location: Lealman Exchange – 5175 45th St. North | 4 – 7 PM

Boo-ling for a Cause
October 18, 2026
Boo-ling for a Cause is BACK! Join us for a fun-filled Halloween bowling party benefiting our mission and the neighbors we serve throughout the community.
Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and enjoy an afternoon of bowling, contests, prizes, food, and family-friendly fun at Ten Pin Lanes. Contest categories will include best costume, highest bowling score, and more. All proceeds directly support Daystar Life’s programs and services.
Community Christmas Party
December 12, 2026
Each year, Daystar Life hosts a free Community Christmas Party to help make the holiday season brighter for local families. Community members enjoy holiday activities, food, gifts, children’s activities, and a festive celebration at no cost to them. This event is made possible through the generosity of sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who come together to spread joy during the holiday season.

Empty Bowls
March 6, 2027
Join us for the 4th annual Clay Center of St. Petersburg’s Empty Bowls benefitting Daystar Life! This community event raises awareness and support for neighbors facing food insecurity. Guests will enjoy soup from local restaurants, handcrafted bowls created by local artists, a silent auction, and more, all while helping provide food and support services to families in our community.
