To submit a request for assistance with a past due utility bill or rent assistance,
please submit your request by clicking on the appropriate button below. The form must be filled out completely, with the
required documents uploaded, or your application will be denied.

Changes to Financial Assistance Services
We accept rent assistance applications starting on the 5th of each month, until we reach capacity for the month.
We accept utility assistance applications starting on the 15th of each month, until we reach capacity.
Please Note:
To avoid delays in processing your request, be sure to submit all required documents along with your application.
Incomplete applications cannot be accepted or approved.

Sharing Hope, Lending a Hand
When you walk through the door at Daystar, you will be greeted personally with a sincere welcome and heartfelt neighborly care. Our entire team is carefully trained and faithfully dedicated to understanding your unique situation and making sure your needs are addressed. In some cases, we may refer you to other caring community organizations who have more of the resources you require.

Healthy Food Pantry
Our healthy food pantry is client-choice and focuses on increasing healthy choices.
Financial Assistance
To apply for rent or utility assistance, please navigate to the top of the page and click ‘submit request’ under the appropriate category.
Note: Rent assistance applications are accepted between the 5th and 14th of each month. Utility bill assistance requests are available between the 15th – end of each month.
Edible Garden
Daystar volunteers harvest our edible garden on Wednesday, and provide produce directly to clients at our center every Thursday morning.
Nutritional and Financial Education Programs
Secure Mail
You may qualify to receive your mail through our safe and secure mail service. Please visit our center or call 727-825-0442 to learn more.

Clothing Closet
Our client-choice clothing closet provides clients with gently used clothing and shoes, and exists thanks to individual donations.
